Tired, glum and crabby girlsWe had just finshed the wedding and it was time for the girls to go home. Ally would be watching the girls for the evening - we were thinking they would go with us, but they’re both a little sick and pretty crabby - I think the picture tells it all.

Karaoke evening before the weddingIan singing morning has brokenIan, Pam and all of us had just returned from Winston Salem, the little Morovian village 2 hours North of Charlotte just in time for the karaoke evening. It was quite a lot of fun, but that didn’t convince me or Naomi to give the karaoke a try, but Ian played the part and sang “Morning has broken.”

Just look at them dance, I’m amazed…

Just look at them dance, I'm amazed...We're just tiredBridgette was so captured by the opening dance, she sat staring like this for several minutes. The girls were really good, but we did take them up to the baby-sitters which Ann had organized for those of us with children. They watched a princess movie, but when that ran out we found them watching “National Treasure,” somehow I think this was the baby-sitters choice and not the children. Other than that they seemed to have taken good care of the girls. My little sister is just very tiredPoor Bridgette was so very tired, she had completely passed out on Megan’s lap by the time we came to pick them up (this would be while they were watching National Treasure).

Ian and Troy trying to find something on TVAnd this is what we were trying to findThis was the spare hotel room for anyone able to return to their standard abode. We noticed this neat message on the TV, but then to try and find it again so we could take a picture was quite something, but since we had nothing better to do we just kept pressing buttons until we found it.

The girls and their curls

The girls and their curlsBridgette's curlsDon’t they just look cute with all those curls, it’s amazing what Mommy can do with the hotbrush. They love having their hair done, having it blow-dryed, curled, washed, heck, they just like being pampered.
