Are we home yet? I'm really tiredI'm really tired nowWe had a lot of fun, so much fun we even missed our nap. Bridgette was out within the first few minutes. Not too surprising since she has fallen asleep on the back of a horse before. She does have some characteristics that she gets from me. By the time we arrived back at the marina both girls were asleep. Forget it, we're both tiredBridgette stayed sleeping in the boat while Brian pulled the boat out of the water. Nothing seemed to bother her until we took her out. She woke up and started playing with Megan and Sindey. Sidney was so helpful and even put on Bridgette’s shoes.

My archeological siteJust look at this hole in the groundSome of the boys had dug this really deep hole and were pretending to dig for fossils. Sidney, Megan and Bridgette were soon helping them excavate. After everyone had left, Bridgette took some time to browse around the site.

Exporing the peninsula

Exporing the peninsulaMore exploringSidney had given up the little expedition and returned to the sandy beaches, while Megan and Bridgette kept wandering about in the grass and trees. They did happen to step in some poopies after Mr Brian had warned them. It was pretty funny though because they both go where? where? While they’re spinning around in the stuff. It was funny until Bridgette noticed these little round poopies and wanted to pick them up.

Wow, look at that!

Wow, look at that! The three girls on the back of the boat. Brian had invited us to go for a short cruise on his new boat (cabin cruiser). It was very cool. Naomi was sick at home and running a fever, so we left Mom at home for some peace and quiet. The girls are taking a look at this cigarette boat (which is a big, long and thin boat that apparently goes very fast). The weather was perfect and they had a very good time.

Just swinging around

Just swinging aroundWe went to pay a visit to John and Kassandra’s new house (well, it’s fairly new anyway), they just moved to Charlotte from California. They really have a beautiful place. The back yard is completely wooded, you can’t even see to the end of the property line - and this is in the middle of the city.
